A Book About A Hawk

A young Cooper's Hawk, ejected from the nest at an early age, makes the journey down the eastern coastal migration route in search of her mother. Along the way, she is befriended by a Turkey Vulture and a Hoot Owl who have organized the Avian Liberation Front to rectify the environmental damage inflicted upon the tidewater estuaries. High-definition creative artwork, computer graphics and photography of the Chesapeake Bay and its wildlife portray the dramatic threats posed by the encroachment of humanity.
